Botswana 2024 P1

In a different approach I'm going to take the viewer on a 35 Day adventure to southern Africa. My good friend Nina put this trip together for me, my nephew Evan and herself.

It was stunning, amazing and beautiful !

This was Evan's 1st trip out of the States, so it added an exploration level that was fun to observe (especially remembering my first trip to Mali in the Peace Corps 50+ years prior.).

All three of us are photographers and were eagar to get started.

The First 4 Days

The adventure for Evan and I began as we left Atlanta on Delta flight 200, October 26th . A straight shot from Atlanta to Johannesburg. An endurance test of 16 hours in which a new day October 27th occurred before we landed.

We went directly to the Intercontinental Hotel at the JNB airport, my go to accomodation after the marathon flight.

Extremely convenient as it's straight across the road from the baggage claim exit.
